Hi there!! My name is Kristin (I go by Paintaloosa on SM) and I live in beautiful Pitt Meadows, in British Columbia with my boyfriend Mike. I am 28 and a legal assistant at a large law firm in downtown Vancouver. I am owned by Cheko (8 year old paint/appy) and two german shepherds (Teal'c (4) and Lacey (9). I started riding at the age of 4 and was a pony club brat until I was about 11. I gave up riding for 10 years and got back into it at the age of 21 when I bought my first horse. It has been a long hard road to find my horsey soul mate in Cheko and I am truly blessed to have him. We do mostly dressage and trail rides but currently I am working on my confidence and balance (STILL) after a bad fall last year. This is a fantastic board and thanks to Chris for making it such a wonderful new neighborhood! K )

Hi all . . . I made it over here, too, from StableMinds because you can never have too many horse forums . . . My name is Tina, I go by TinaB at StableMinds and as rhapsody (Tina) at AWH. I live in NW Florida and have a husband (John) of 11-1/2 years, 2 sons (ages 5 and 6 though oldest will be 7 in 4 days!), one 3yo Golden Retriever (rescue) and 2 Arabian geldings, ages 3 and 8. It's nice to "see" so many familiar "faces!" Tina

Didn't know so many had migrated over. Nice board, Chris! I'm Rein Er Shine at Stable Minds. I started in Acmepet when I was 12 years old and migrated to whereever everyone else went. LOL I'm 21 now and my fiance and I own two Quarter horses and three Miniatures. We're in the process of looking for my fiance's dream horse - a well trained beginner safe draft horse that he can use for trail riding. In the meantime we enjoy riding around our own place in south central Texas. We ride western and drive the Minis. In 2005 we'll be relocating to central Oklahoma (Stillwater area) to our new farm ;D ;D ;D Can't wait!

Well.. i'm Brittany. Im 18, from Alberta, Canada, and i'm an avid reining fan. It is a sport of so much perfection, speed, style, and adrenaline... I think it really shows what a working relationship between horse and rider is all about. I own a couple horses, a 3 year old black QH mare, Zora and a 6 year old bay QHx mare, Angel. I've shown Angel for 5 years now and i've had a load of fun with her. She was my first horse, and she is so much like me its scary! LOL Zora, on the other hand, is real quiet and kind and gentle.. kindof like the kid you see tracing butterflies in the shale at a baseball game. Angel is a little more intense, and I love her for that. I also own a 1 year old Australian Shepherd male named Paisley.. he's a energetic, bouncy sweetheart. I'm currently working as customer relations and retail in a floral/gift store and living out my year as a rodeo queen. Oh yeah... i'm also a huge rodeo fan I'm a sucker for high-speed high-intensity sports that are animal-based! As for college, I am planning on attending Marvelle esthetics school in September. Glad to be here! -Britt

Hi, I am Sheryl. I read and post at a couple of boards lists including Stableminds and Ridecamp. Love all the information from so many informed people, looking forward to a flame free zone however!
Anyway, my horse is a 10 year old Appaloosa mare named Ruby. We also do a part lease on a QH gelding named Taco for my son to ride.
Nice board, looking forward to "meeting" you all.

Hi, Sheryl! Do you have a different handle for StableMinds? I've posted there for years, but am having trouble placing you. Tell us more about what kind of riding you do, where you're from, and what your plans are for the New Year. I look forward to getting to know you! I'm so glad you came to this board!

I didn't realize you were planning to move to OK. Will you be anywhere near Karen N then? LOL Mary Ann, you can still call me Rein if you want. I decided that name is just tooo long now. I met Karen N last year (2004, that is) when my SO and I were up there looking for land and closing a deal, and I believe we'll be about an hour and a half from each other. Hopefully she'll let me come bug her at the foundation QH shows that she and her family go to
