Thanks, Rein; I'm easily confused.  It'd be really cool to see Karen N's shows! I've never seen a foundation QH show; that'd be a treat. And if Karen's like me, another hand with a brush and towel is always welcome! Too bad you didn't need to move to northcentral Illinois....  |

Well for those who don't know me my name is Sarah aka YooHoo's Mommy and I am the founder and program executor (and main gopher) of a 501(c)(3) rescue organization based in SW VA called Lost Fantasy Stables & Animal Rescue Inc. where we work with the rescue, adoption, and sanctuary of horses and hybrid wolves (and whatever other type of animal that needs a home). We currently are home to 15 horses, 5 dogs, 14 cats, 2 ferrets, a hamster, a rabbit, 2 mini pygmy goats, and 5 hybrid wolves. I am also the mother of 2 boys ages 14 & 11 who have gotten my animal rescue genetics but not my riding ones  I ride hunter and dressage and show some halter but currently am battling a severe back injury and cannot ride at all so I have a field full of horses that need to be ridden so if anyone is near VA come on down... I know Melelio personally and love her to death and she has been a great big help to our organization. Thanks for having me here. |

Hi everyone - I'm Mouse from Stableminds. I decided to combine my two user names - I go by Mouse on SM and PeriwinkleBlue on COTH. I'm 27 years old, married for three years and have two daughters. One, Gabby, will be 2 in January, and the other, Zoe, was born November 7th of 2004. I have one horse, Summer, who I love dearly but am having a mental crisis over. She is a 7 year old copper chestnut, about 15.2, with a blaze and high left hind stocking. She's very green but has such a wonderful personality that she's a joy to ride. Oh - we're in central Texas, about an hour and a half south of Ft. Worth. Mary Ann invited me here, and I'm glad she did! I can always use another board to read. |

Hi y'all, My name is Beth, I am twenty years old, and I currently reside in a small dinky town (population: 450) west of Lansing, Michigan. I am engaged to the love of my life, Casey, and are planning a July wedding. Currently own 4 horses, but that is changing. I am giving "Angel" to our very own Apaches Mom from SB!  and plan to sell one of the geldings, but that will be a tough decision as to which one. The other three are: Can Dee Rockin 4 yr old sorrel overo gelding Justa CanDee Bar, 3 yr old sorrel overo gelding and lastly, but not least, my mare out of Angel, Docs Sketching Angel, 5 yr old bay roan tovero. My mom also owns a silly (actually dangerous) 2 yr old spotted draft. But we wont get into details on how I feel about this horse *grin* Glad I found ya guys...I was worried! I ask the NHR page if certain members were okay because I hadn't seen them post and I found you were here. Whew! Bethers |

Hi Maryann. Figured I'd pop in and see how you are doing.
As for me...I'm 44, just turned and I have 3 horses and one pony. Spots being my equine of choice. 2 appies, 1 q/h and a welsh/appy cross pony.
I also have 2 cats, just put one down yesterday. Still not feeling great over that and 5 dogs.
2 are rescues sort of. I've been involved with horses since 1996 and got my first horse n 1997. It's been a life long love affair that finally being fullfilled.

Hi Chris and Mary Ann and all! I'm Laura in WA on SM, but I guess I'll just be "Laura" here, as it wouldn't let me enter Laura in WA!
Anyway, I am an almost-50-year-old horse lover. We have two Arabs, gelding Myth and mare Tessa. We've just moved to our new home in Nine Mile Falls, WA, and are loving every minute of it! Our new neighbors have Arabs too -- a big departure from the neighbors at our previous house -- they ran an awful junkyard and were always revving up engines of one type or another.
I have so many things that I've always wanted to do regarding horses, and don't know if I'll ever get there in this lifetime, but I'm trying! I had horses briefly in my teens and early 20's, but have only owned them now recently for the past 3 years.

Hello Everyone! some know me as CharlieMN. I live in MN. a little 'bout me (ummmm) I'm female (for those who don't know me) I've been around and owned horses my whole life, I grew up with Appaloosa's and I own 4 horses right now-- 2 Appy's- Stormy, 9yr old leopard mare and King 9yr varnish roan gelding, Stormys friesianxappy colt Markie he'll be 5 months Jan.9th thou he'll be sold, I started a small Appaloosa Sport Horse breeding program and Stormy is my founding mare  than I have my trust worthy polish arabian mare TF Gai Gazel, she's my old mamma turning 19 this year I've owned her since she was 7.... I'm married 8yrs this month with a great non-horsey DH with a beautiful sprited horse crazy DD who just turned 4... and gaurdian of 8yrs Charlie my White German Shepard... well that's about it for now, I look forward to meeting the ones I don't know as well as chatting with the ones I do know ;D Amy |

It's so nice to finally meet a few white german shepherd owner!! My little girl is 9 years old and was a breeding female at a kennel before I became her retirement home. She and my black male get alot of looks when I take them out. Some dont believe me that they are both purebreds and some think they are wolves. Do you have any pics? I cannot post until I get home from work today.
