Hey ya'll! I live in Texas....how many on this forum live in Texas? I have 3 gaited horses thus the name: trespaso I love trail riding and camping with my horse and competitive trail and team penning. I'm an old gal with alot of stamina. My husband is great  because he supports my passion although he doesn't ride any longer. My girls are on there own, empty nest, and I just love my life that I can do what I do.....hang with my beloved animals alllllll day long; dogs, cats, ducks, guineas, & horses. I've been busted up and glued back together but you just can't take the 'horse out of the girl'.  |

Newbie here. I ran across this board today and thought I'd check things out. I live in the Southeast and own a NSH (arab x saddlebred) mare named Darcy. She's my first horse. I was hooked on horses as a kid. I took lessons, but circumstances changed and I had to stop. I came back to riding as an adult and since then I haven't looked back.

Welcome, trespaso and dreamquest! I'm an empty nester too, and have five horses. Two are Quarters, two are Friesians, and one is a sweet little pony. I was hooked on horses as a kid too; for as long as I can remember. We call it having the 'H' gene. Again, welcome to the board! |

Stupid question: how do I access my profile? I want to add an avatar etc, but I can't figure out how to do it. I'm a vet of many boards, but I can't find the control panel here! Augh.

click on your own name while you're signed in, and it'll bring you to your profile, there should be a choice there to modify profile.

Welcome, Dreamquest! I love your username! I live in the Southeast also, though in Florida, and have 1 husband, 2 sons (ages 9 and 10), 2 Arabian geldings (ages 12 and 7), and 2 dogs. We also have 2 or 3 fish (not sure; the goldfish I have no question about but the oto-cats are shy and I only ever see one at a time which means either they take turns or one died  ). Now's a good time to over the unofficial rules of EquiFriends. 1. We like pictures so newbies are required to post pictures of their horses 2. We like pictures of horses so newbies and oldies are requird to post pictures of their horses. 3. Pictures of self, kids, dogs, cats, vacations, etc., are also welcome. ;D |

I suppose this is where I should start.
I have been reading this board off and on for quite some time.
Up until today have been completely unsuccessful in registering an account as I am on an ancient computer and dial up.
I am the caretaker of two pups and three cats. I board my horse with his trainer and when my work schedule allows, enjoy visiting him.

We also have two dogs and three cats in our family here in Virginia. I love horses but don't have any.

Hi, my name is Candice and I'm 18. Kinda of new here so don't feel left out of anything! I have a 3 yr old mare named Oasis, she is a Paint (chestnut white). She is my first horse so I have lots to do with her and myself. I have two cats and I goat as well. I live in Michigan...
