Hey, Chris and MaryAnn!! I'm the same Deb from another board we met on. I live in SW MO near Joplin. I still have my QH mare, Candy and a blind Appy gelding, Cody. I'm a Granny to 9 Grandkids so that puts me in the Senior Citizen camp. I'm 57 years old. I've been a horse crazed person all my life to the point of being horse insane. I've had many experiences with horse camping and big Benefit Trail Rides sponsored by the National Kidney Foundation and American Diabetes Association. My riding days have come to a halt, because I have Degenerative Disc Disease and Facet Joint Syndrome in my Lumbar Spine. Plus, debilitating Arthritis in my left shoulder. My Candy and I have been each others for 12 years now, she is now 20 years old and Cody is 19. My DH and I also have 2 Corgis, a Catahoula cross and a miniature Schnauzer we adopted. Plus, 2 house cats that think they are human. So glad to have found you again!!! Modified to add: a picture of me and Candy.

Hello...been a lurker for a while but decided to register today. I like to do a little bit of riding in my free time-western pleasure, mainly. I have 3 quarter horse mares, but I'm signing the papers over on one of them soon. I'm not real exciting.

Hi Fillevoisine - I noticed a post from you today. I'm curious about your name - I'm guessing it's French? I tried it in Babelfish and got "Close Girl" I like to trail ride and used to do some competitive distance riding, but for now I just have a few breeding horses (that's my mare and new foal at the top of the board). I used to ride Arabians but am now into gaited horses. Welcome!

Hi I decided I needed to come out of lurkdom and even already made a purchase from Callie/MJ, what wonderful gals!! Chris you might remember me from another board (exracers) and bought some riding tennis shoes from ya years ago. "Lost" the hubby since we last chatted, (and I see you are in the process to) so also lost the shoes but it was a great bargain!!! ;D That said "HI everyone!" I am Dawn, live in the middle of lower Michigan. Trail ride/camp whenever get the chance. I own two horses Avatar is of my 3 yr old draft cross mare, Bella, whom I adore. I also have an appendix TB gelding, Jackson, who is 16 yrs old and just the most solid citizen. I also ride with the local sheriffs mounted division so they get a bit of extra curricular activities as well. Have two dogs and a cat and a home in the country, can't complain about much (but do on occasion, LOL). Glad to meet you, been lurking for a while now but couldn't stand it anymore but ya'll are so nice had to finally join you modified to add photos; Bella and myself Jackson at Goose Creek Camp near Grayling, Michigan

Hi Dawn,
Welcome!
Ohhhhh you just brought back a ton of memories. Goose Creek is one of my favorite horse camp grounds. I grew up riding competitive and endurance in Michigan. I always loved it when there was a ride at Goose Creek. I have several old photos from that same spot. I'll have to try to find some.
I am originally from Eaton Rapids...just south of Lansing. Right now I live in central PA.
Bella and Jackson are gorgeous!
