So, I didn't post much in those times - I read Acme and Stableminds from time to time.

Tee and I meeting is a story that always makes me smile. We were both on horses with "challenges" and lets just say we have improved as riders since then.... Her horse wouldn't lead at the time and I didn't have a trailer so she picked me and Ruby up and we went for a ride. We became hopelessly lost riding loops around Bridle Trails but the laughs and good times started a great friendship.

Thinking back, the whole thing was nuts but I am so glad for that day!

I was on Acme - never have changed my handle. There was a board before Acme that I was on, and it has evolved/changed, too - still around - and I still post there.

Wildfire did indeed buy Studley from grits, and he was recently put down. Have met Wildfire in person - a very wonderful indivdual IRL

So many names I am seeing here and so many memories. Liberty still exists, but is WAY slow, and I lurk once in a while, but never post.

Am am surprised Liberty is still alive. I guess that Brian guy who had so many different aliases spends his nights playing with himself, oops I mean posting with himself ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I started at Acme in 2000 when Magic started falling down. I needed help as I had no idea it was damage, at that time I just thought he was tripping. I also enjoyed the dog and cat boards. How funny to remember the different "personalities" of the boards. The dog boards were generally pretty fun and easy, the cat ones seemed to, well, hiss at each other more often. Just my personal experience, YMM(have)V(ed).

The horse board seemed very helpful and it was easy for me to stay out of the way of those who seemed to enjoy dogpiling and degrading people. They were quieter on there than other boards they moved to. Then they seemed to just explode with as much venom as they wanted to. But I digress.

I came on just before Marge passed too. She was a good soul.

I also remember many of those who have been (and/or still are) on here, or were on the other boards who were just kids when I started. It's been like watching a family grow up over the years.

Liberty always felt to me like an entity that would never die. As long as people wanted to fling their turds at other people there would be a place for Liberty. JM(ratherraunchy)O.

Back in the day when I had 400 parrots that I was breeding/showing I was on every bird board there was. Up At Six was a real hopping board. WOW those days really taught me to be careful what I read and not skim. I did some apologizing at first. That's where I met Georgie. She posted on the conure and the budgie boards. She was the one who use to run TB as well as pleasure ride. She liked to run hot wires low to shock stray cats, etc. She burned through those boards

I found the ACME budgie board one day. Had a great time over there, then "turned the page" and found the horse board. It wasn't long until Georgie found both of those boards.

I followed to Stable Minds. I can only read over there. For what ever reason my computer no longer allows me to post. Then Georgie found that board. Wasn't long until she burned through it.

Stable Minds is so slow because many are FB friends. I'm friends with Muley. I LOVE her soaps!!

Then I followed over here AND Liberty. So did Georgie. It didn't take long for her to burn through this board as well as Liberty. Hard to believe on that note! Last I heard she even burned through the CLOTH board.

I used to be on Acme Pet chat all the time under my name, or "Frozen Tundra". That was a great chatroom in the early 2000s.

I wonder how these interesting old threads are getting bumped up. I remember Jan. She was on acme, then SM then here. She left here because she wouldn't be "forced" to wear a helmet at the first Gathering. On Acme I was Happy.

I think Facebook has taken the juice out of some bulletin boards. I miss the old days and folks who are gone. COTH imo is not any one thing- folks have their different opinions but that's just like life!

People can use google to search for anything - some of our old posts come up in searches and the people reply, without noticing (or caring?) that the thread is years old.

I don't know if it's an option, but I can look into deleting threads that are more than, say, 2 years old (except for the "useful tips" board) if people would like.

Plus - this is another reminder that this board is not at all private - everything we put here is available on the 'net.

Oh my god... I can’t remember anything and for some reason this just popped into my mind. ACME PET CHAT!!! I tried searching a few years ago but didn’t find anything. Wow Hi y’all!!!!!! Snaffle is feel like is a name I actually remember!
