Sarah, I'm glad you are here and spoke up! Let me see if I can figure out what the board hiccup is.

ok, I was told to stop by here and be congenial, say hi, or I would get soundly spanked, lol! Chris was kind enough to invite me over here and join you good folks!! I have Pure Polish and Polish/dom. cross working western Arabians, but love most all equines, have trained/owned/handled most all breeds! Happy to be here and greet everyone!

I JUST joined!! Have a few friends on this site and know a few from another board I post on (Stableminds). Happy to be here and hope to learn from each and all from you! "HAD" a horse... but he recently passed away due to a freak accident. So just have my tack hung up ... and waiting for someday to have another. Future dream... just have no time right now, especially with a 17 month old son! My family has been avid horse lovers since we were kids - and my sister still lives up on her dream! Has 100 acres of land, just build a gorgeous home on it and moved her 4 steeds from the boarding stable we were all using out to her farm! It's amazing!! Ok.. I need a horse.. LOL

Guess its mine turn. I recently registered. Some of you may remember me from SM. There are so many of you here that I miss.
I'm married. We live in SW Virginia between the Blue Ridge and Appalachian mountains. My husband is a truck driver and is away from home a lot. We don't have any children of our own. We have 3 dogs and 3 cats. I've always loved horses but have never owned any. My family used to go trail riding when I was a kid. I have many fond memories of riding and going swimming along with my mom and dad and my brothers. Sometimes my dad and I would go riding together, just the two of us with a trail guide. That was many years ago. He's been gone for 26 yrs. I still miss him, my mom and my #2 brother.

Hi Honeybear. Welcome to the board! It is hard when our loved ones leave us. I still miss my grandmother and it's been 20 years.

Welcome, Sherry! I'm so glad you'd join us! We're a pretty eclectic group, with all sorts of interests. I have five horses too, have for awhile and still have lots to learn. It's part of the adventure. Again, welcome! I look forward to your participation.

HI. We're so pleased to meet you Sherry! I've got 8 horses, well, 7 soon when one goes to his new home. All Arabians, mostly bays. I'm a Kansas girl too, eastern part of the state. I do endurance and competitive trail riding and get out your way sometimes to kanopolis! Maybe we can have a Kansas E-friends ride!

Great to meet you, Jennifer! Star looks like quite a treasure! Isn't it wonderful to have a horse like that, who has shared so much of your life? You're lucky indeed. Welcome to the board!
