Hi Everyone - I'm Cathleen and I met Chris a couple years back, rode the trails a couple times with her, did my first 15-miler on her Zab, and decided I'd stick with what I'm already doing. haha! ;D I now only live about 8 or so miles from her, but have yet to ride with her since our move!!
I'm a married, working mom of 3. I have 3 registered AQHAs (Sass, 11 yrs - pregnant and due in May; Tucker, 9 yrs - my dressage/trail steed; Tawny, almost 3 - started her late last summer and want to get her out on trails). Oh, and my nine year daughter has a pony that she's rapidly outgrowing. So, now he's driving me around.
Nice to see read about everyone and see all the pics!

Oh CatB, I'm so glad you made it over here! Yeah!!!!! It's supposed to be nice the rest of this week... can you get any time off to ride?

Can't really take any time off this week, but if the weekend doesn't end up being awful - I don't have a thing going on!

Official welcome on the "intro board to Mary Lou!
Hi my name is Mary-Lou. I have horses with my son in MO, Springfield area. We show for fun although my son has desires to make the Morgan Regionals in saddleseat next year. I only show to play. I am 55 and retired from the horse bussiness and do not care to work hard enough to show that hard. We have 18 horses mostlly arabian mares, but many of our horses are too old or to stuborn to ride. We ride or use 9 reqularly, but we keep shoes on 15 because our ground is so rocky. I ride a champain tenn walker and a bay arabian. I show my walker (Goldy Walks) both english and western and my arabian (Miss Jazz Min) western pleasure agaist the local quater horses. Everyone at the local show thinks that I am crazy for riding an arabian.
Well that is enough about me, it will be fun to get to know all you. My friend Di told me to do this so I hope I did it right.

HI Everyone.
I just found my way here thru the kindness of Frosty M.
I hope you remember me fondly from the old Acme then Stableminds board.
Anyway I still have all my horses, into TB racing. Have a nice 4 yr old Hubby and I have been sitting on till he grows strong and older that is now ready to go. I still have Chomper, who is always for sale in the spring and fall and is obviously still driving me crazy. He is such a great ride though that it makes up for all his 'barn' antics.
I have my corgi's , Phil and Winnie, and they are great. Lost my oldest, Penny, over a year ago due to old age, then 6 months later I found a great pup which we named Winnie. She is a super little fireball and keeps my little fatty, Phil on his toes.

Hi Everyone!!! Not sure if anyone will remember me from Acme/Stableminds as I haven't posted over there in a looonnngg time. Would like to join this community if you'll have me?! Actually decided to come here because I really miss Georgie, MaryAnn, Chris & Star along with others that no longer post over there. Anyway....to recap on me - I have two Standardbred geldings and three ponies. I will be doing my very first Hunter Pace this coming Saturday...kinda looking forward to it Other than that, I've been trying to do CTR/Endurance type rides for 9 years now - life keeps getting in the way and I like to drive my ponies..... Thanks and hopefully can talk with you later ;D Candy |
