That looks like a great improvement. She looks happy and is filling out so nicely. Too bad Mason can't share some of his extra pounds with her.

She looks quite a bit better. And 17 is not old for Arabs, Shadow is 28 this year and well I just barely retired her, but in reality I'm the one who wanted the retirement. She doesn't believe in easy rides, I would probably ride her still but she wants to go go go like she is 10 and she isn't.

Hard to judge from pics. She may have lost a bit from before you were gone those 5 days but she sure looks better and happier than the starting pics. But I guess she still needs your or DDs TLC.

She is not going anywhere until she is at least 95% better. It worries me as I am about to go see Hubby for 3 weeks, but Kari will be here, so it SHOULD be ok. This was the first time Kari and I were both out of town (we were at her 4H State horse show) and I left my son in charge... not such a good choice, but he tried, he admits he fed her the wrong stuff, but at least she was fed and is happy.

She is looking great! Does she seem to be well-trained or.is she pretty green under saddle? It looks like the rest of the herd likes her a lot. They look so peaceful just standing there in the shade.

The mare may be filling out inside. I am glad you are getting her checked and wormed again. I see some.improvement in her neck. How does she seem to be feeling?
The little.paint could.really use some groceries and some.exercise.

At their house he was on 2 scoops Sr feed and 2 scoops of alfalfa pellets, plus 1 cup corn oil daily, plus the round bale. I had them put him on Sr feed, when the "sweet feed" was not helping. They said it helped at first, but I'm guessing he started growing again when his body got what it needed, then he got skinny again. The hay thing did not help I'm sure. I would not want to eat hay that the goats were soiling either. at my house he gets the Sr feed, alfalfa pellets and all the clean grass hay he can eat. He is on about 1/2 ac. by himself, but will be turned out with the res of the herd by the end of next week. so he will have about 5 ac to roam on. Once he has more weight, he will learn to pony and will start going on trail rides.
