I've been really under the weather. Ray said he knows I'm not feeling well when all these gorgeous days go by and I don't ride! Well, today, i couldn't stand it any longer. Had to get Zabbie out for a walkie=walkie ride. I was only out for about a half hour, but it felt good. Heading out...flowers along the roadside. Molly had to come with A lovely brome hay field beyond the sunflowers In a meadow full of flowers and grasses... mmmm, sunflowers are tasty! Long shadows at the end of the day. This was about 6 p.m. the road home. Zabbie has never learned to appreciate bovines, LOL. Curly, Larry and Moe...oh, that would be Moon, Star and Ali And back home

Thanks!! I was going to ride yesterday, but Shiloh was being a pill about putting his bridle on, so we had a bridle lesson instead. Then I had to work late tonight. I had to skip my riding lesson Monday due to working late, so it has been over 11 days since I've ridden. I plan to ride tomorrow.
It's fun seeing the pictures. Your yard really looks nice in the last shot!

Cool Pictures! Your house is so pretty. Is that a cornflower blue? I love it. All that lawn...I would be so tempted to just fence it in and let the horses trim it down. LOL But then pasture is pretty precious here. I fed the birds all these sunflower seeds and they went every which way into my potted plants...only 1 came up. Its about 2 feet high and getting ready to bloom-right in time for fall. LOL I love the shot of Zab with the flowers, sweet Indian summer days. Glad you are feeling a bit better, it sucks to be under the weather. I was productive today, got 2 post holes dug for the barn. Get to set them in cement tomorrow. Its getting exciting.

Criminy Marci; what are you doing up so late??? Of course I'm up so early.... Chris, you take me back to June. You have some of the prettiest riding there! Nice quiet roads, the lake nearby, lots of nice 'obstacles' like cows. It's funny about the sunflowers. I'd been feeding BOSS this summer, and found a surprising number of resulting sunflowers in the roughs. Normally a horse won't touch the roughs, but those bright yellow flowers are bitten off right at the head as soon as they bloom. Thanks for the pics; it was fun to go riding with you again, even if it was just a virtual ride.

Sorry you've been feeling down. I hope you're better now. Great pics, especially the glimpses of Zab's pretty head. What a jewel he is. Thanks for sharing.
