Wow, I really miss the group that we used to be. Remember when we all stayed up late and watched Tevis results. I loved it.

This year's Tevis winner, Tennessee Lane has started putting on rides in La Veta Colorado. She's even cleared new trails for us. Talk about giving back to other riders in a huge way I too miss the days when we cheered each others ride stories and so on. Facebook is easier to share pics on, but the feed is erratic, I never know if I missed something fun so I wish this board was still active.

ME too, I forgot to even watch it. Wasn't one of our own riding in it that year too?

Char was riding it a couple of years on the mustang. I can't recall his name. Also Barry Cole of Kansas I think was on this board as an occasional poster and he rode Tevis once or twice.
Old memories are fun, but bittersweet when the group is not sharing new ones. Oh well I got a lot of great advice and support from this board in its active years.

I started doing endurance riding after I retired. I did 10 intros (8 - 15 mile rides w/ no time limits), then did my first LD (25 mile ride). I've now completed 3 LDs and 11 Intros. I also have one pull - it was a very hot & humid ride. I shouldn't have started, but did.
I knew a few of the Tevis riders this year. Kerry Lowrey #123 on her appy/arab cross is someone that I've really admired. She completed the ride!

Yay Dorothy. I love that you are rocking retirement and Shiloh is still going strong.
MJ, I hope if you and Dorothy post more and few others start chiming in again the board can get back to a critical mass to be active.
