Forgot to post that Pebbles found a young lady to call her own. VERY VERY sad for me but Jenna is absolutely in LOVE with Pebbles and has been spending a lot of time with her. Jenna, her dad and her trainer came to see Pebbles on Sept 17. They were a great match and the trainer was very impressed with Pebbles (she had NOT been ridden in about 3 weeks). She loaded in the trailer like she had been doing it all along instead of the fact that she has been in a trailer maybe 5 times in her life. They let her settle in at home (just outside Jenna's bedroom window ) while Jenna spent lots of time with her. The next week they hauled her to the trainers and had their first lesson together (she wants to do local barrel racing). Jenna said that Pebbles did everything she asked but that she would need to learn to ride again Flint is a little depressed...he looks around for her every time I go out and catch him....and he has reverted to being scared of EVERYTHING the hay wagon was reason to jump and snort. Then he refused to walk in the barn...had to smack him on the butt and he went in snorting and blowing. Hopefully he will settle back down with a little time...I have been so busy lately that I haven't had time to work with him a lot. Going to just have to make him a priority.

Bittersweet. You are happy for Pebbles but its sad when it can't be us spending all that good time with a horse we sold.

Ah, to be a teenage girl again and have all the time in the world to spend with a horse. This being an adult isn't all it was cracked up to be. Pebbles is really going to be the winner here, and you will be able to handle just one horse much better.

Linda...agreed. Jenna posts pictures all the time of her and Pebbles. She is definitely getting a lot of attention and doing things that a horse should She looked 'sad' the first few days but looks content and happy now!

Sounds like someone needs more pampering, He is feeling kinda unnerved. Time and TLC should do the trick. And congrats for finding what sounds like a dream home for your mare.
