We're not home yet but we will be later today, she's sleeping at the apartment we rented for a few days before we leave. Hospitals are not the place to get good sleep! It's amazing to me ... Major brain surgery and heading home in 2 days! I guess that's what happens when you have the very best doctors and youth on your side! She has lots of restrictions for 6 weeks, lots of meds to take, and lots of resting and healing to do .... But hopefully after 6 weeks she will be looking and feeling wonderful. The only med that will be in place long term is the seizure meds but even those at least start coming down in dosage in a month!!
Thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts!!

I've been following her caringbridge page. I was so happy to hear that the surgery not only went well, but that she is doing amazing! Its a testament to her and to her surgeons that she is out of the hospital two days after major brain surgery!
