Saturday I made ham and bean soup and thought "I'll put the rack in, make sure I have just liquid on the bottom of the pan"
All the beans and good thickener hid under the rack so the soup dished up out of the cooker was thin and watery. I thought there might be some beans hiding under the rack but I couldn't fish the rack up until I poured the rest of the soup into a fridge container after eating supper. Now I have extra thick rich bean and ham stew for leftovers and I know better.
