So rough survey for the gift buddy's. Please be 100% honest so your buddy isn't having to guess and hope and you are more likely to get something you can't wait to gush about. Feel free to add questions.
Horse accessories? Stable colors? Can you never have too many lead ropes, but you're drowning in halters?
Jams, preserves, jellies? Likes and any dislikes. ie I love most things rhubarb, not too fond of raisin based jams.
Baking mixes, taco seasoning etc? ie I like the convenience of a baking mix or hot drink powders but I prefer to shake in a little of this and that from my spices than to use a chile or taco blend and I never mix up a dip mix.
Home decor? Do you like fun place mats, other kitchen stuff, picture frames? or are your walls are surfaces full and you prefer your buddy skips anything in this category?
baked goods or candies. Chocolate? milk, white, dark? Lemon? Are you allergic to nuts or anything? Trying to limit gluten or flour but candy is good or don't want to get any kind of sweets?
Jewelry? List what you wear and style colors you like.
Socks, slippers? mittens, fingerless gloves? scarves or stocking caps.
Dogs? cats? Both? Do they have diet restrictions? Do you like to get stuff for them as gifts or prefer to buy their stuff personally and want your buddy to focus on you?
Candles? Scented? Likes/dislikes.
Soaps, lotions, etc? ie.I love the handmade soaps and scented body washes and lotions in lavender, citrus, cucumber, mints. I don't like most fruit or flower scents.

Horse Accessories--I can't think of anything I would need. I'm giving stuff away as I winnow out. These are probably my last two horses--unless one meets an untimely end.
Jams, preserves, jellies--I have a store-room full after a very successful garden.
Baking mixes--whole wheat/whole grain mixes would be welcome.
Home Decor--I have too much stuff and too little wall space now.
Chocolate--did someone mention chocolate? Dark, please. Or, dark with mint.
Jewelry--I don't wear much. But, a necklace on a longer chain, 24-26 inches or so, suitable to wear over a tee shirt with a fleece jacket would be nice. I like beads, anything teal green, turquoise or black. Something not too fancy--something maybe with a nature theme so it isn't too dressy. Horses, border collies, critters of most any nature. Well, maybe not a cow head. That wouldn't be me.
Socks, slippers---slippers with a sole that could go outside on a short trip. Slippers that are secure enough to go up and down the circular staircase that I navigate a hundred or more times a day.
I have both a dog and a couple of cats. The dog wants her own herd of sheep and the cats want the voles to come out and be active again so they can hunt. Sadie has plenty of toys and the cats just wouldn't be interested. Sam doesn't even like his own catnip plants that grow outside.
Candles? I try to stay away from open flames. I have wood stoves, that is enough fire. I do have a Scentsy. I love vanilla, lavender, pine (if it isn't too strong) and citrus. I hate cucumber.
Soaps, lotions? I'm good there.
I have a Kindle--two, actually. It is hard to go wrong with a Kindle book gift certificate.

Horse accessories? Stable colors? No horses, just the dogs. Nicks color is green. Rosie and Frankie are green or purple.
Jams, preserves, jellies? Likes and any dislikes. Strawberry of any is usually good.
Baking mixes, taco seasoning etc? Don't do much baking, except at Christmas time. Taco seasoning...LOL I *thought* I was almost out of the Costco container, so I bought one...then found the one I had bought a few weeks prior. We're going to have to start eating a LOT of tacos. LOL I did find a Stephens Hot chocolate mix with mint that is WONDERFUL! Don't drink coffee or tea either.
Home decor? Do you like fun place mats, other kitchen stuff, picture frames? Our home décor is mostly dog hair. LOL Our kitchen is TINY and FULL. Picture frames are nice. I can almost always find a little more wall space.
baked goods or candies. Chocolate? milk, white, dark? Lemon? All are good. Milk chocolate is my favorite. Not a fan of coconut anything.
Jewelry? List what you wear and style colors you like. Don't wear much, but I do like bling. No dangle earrings tho, I'm scared the dogs will hook them. I mostly wear silver or white gold.
Socks, slippers? mittens, fingerless gloves? scarves or stocking caps. Love fingerless gloves. I buy the cheap little gloves and cut the tips off the thumb and 2 fingers, then I can still feed dog treat while my hands stay warm. Not a fan of stocking caps, they never stay on my head and cause static in my hair.
Dogs? cats? Both? Do they have diet restrictions? Do you like to get stuff for them as gifts or prefer to buy their stuff personally and want your buddy to focus on you? Rosie, Nick, Frankie. They LOVE anything. We are trying to go grain free for most treats, since Frankie has mild allergies.
Candles? Scented? Likes/dislikes. I like some candles, usually vanilla, but we rarely light any.
Soaps, lotions, etc? LOVE O'Keefes working hands hand cream. No scent, non greasy, works great!
Anything dog/agility related stuff is always good. T-shirts, car decals, earrings, etc.

Horse accessories? Stable colors? Can you never have too many lead ropes, but you're drowning in halters? I could probably use another halter. I'd love the kind you can tie yourself. I still have the one I got from Linda for Taz but Revere doesn't have one. For a regular halter, he's a bit hard to size; his head isn't as refined as Taz's so cob isn't quite big enough but it's smaller than the standard horse size . . . A cotton longe line would also be nice.Jams, preserves, jellies? Likes and any dislikes. ie I love most things rhubarb, not too fond of raisin based jams. Yes, please! Strawberry is always good. Not too fond of grape. Would be willing to try other types of fruit jams, though.Baking mixes, taco seasoning etc? ie I like the convenience of a baking mix or hot drink powders but I prefer to shake in a little of this and that from my spices than to use a chile or taco blend and I never mix up a dip mix. Maybe some bread mixes for bread machines (as long as there aren't any partially hydrogenated oils in them)Home decor? Do you like fun place mats, other kitchen stuff, picture frames? or are your walls are surfaces full and you prefer your buddy skips anything in this category? Can't think of anything in this category.baked goods or candies. Chocolate? milk, white, dark? Lemon? Are you allergic to nuts or anything? Trying to limit gluten or flour but candy is good or don't want to get any kind of sweets? Sure! Milk or dark chocolate. Love almonds. Nothing with partially hydrogenated oils or palm oil or palm kernel oil, etc.Jewelry? List what you wear and style colors you like. I love jewelry but am allergic unless it's gold or silver which will be too pricey for a b-day buddy!Socks, slippers? mittens, fingerless gloves? scarves or stocking caps. I like fun socks. Slippers are always good (not the fuzzy footies with tread, though; they pick up and cling to every. bit. of. dog. hair. that every existed in my house as well as dog hair 2 weeks into the future. Scarves, too (fashion ones, not winter ones). I have a burgundy one already. Dogs? cats? Both? Do they have diet restrictions? Do you like to get stuff for them as gifts or prefer to buy their stuff personally and want your buddy to focus on you? We have 2 horses, 3 dogs and 16 chickens. The chickens don't need anything. The dogs like treats but we only give them treats made in the U.S. They also like fuzzy/squeaky toys. We have a golden retriever, a terrier mix who is a hoarder (she hides toys and bones under my bed so Max and Lucky can't get to them), and a Pomeranian.Candles? Scented? Likes/dislikes. Candles are good, but I also have a Scentsy warmer. No vanilla or floral scents, please! Citrus is always a good choice.Soaps, lotions, etc? ie.I love the handmade soaps and scented body washes and lotions in lavender, citrus, cucumber, mints. I don't like most fruit or flower scents. Again, no vanilla or floral scents, or patchoulli. Citrus is good, as is cucumber/melon, and similar.
Other info: I have long hair and I do wear it up so scrunchies are good as are barrettes. My hair is VERY thick, though, so tiny barrettes won't work! I used to have a hair clip by Scunci that was a "comfort" one made of softer plastic than the typical clip (you could lean your head back on the seat and it wouldn't kill your scalp; I've not found another one ANYWHERE so if someone else did I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to have it! It's the kind of clip that looks like a clamp; twist your hair up on the back of your head, install the clip and voila!

In case one of us who makes halters would happen to get your name, it would be helpful for you to post Revere's measurements. How big around is his nose where you want the halter to fit? How tight do you want that noseband? How far is it from where you want the noseband to fit up to where if fastens on the throatlatch you tie that goes behind his ears? How far is it from the end of the loop that you tie the throatlatch to the middle of his jaw? And, how far from the middle of his jaw, where the throatlatch goes around, to the noseband?
It appears that "regular" halter measurements don't fit Revere--so, if you want custom--we would need the measurements.

Horse accessories? Stable colors? I have the basics (halters, leads, bridle saddle pad) But it's always fun to get something in a color! I stick with basic brown or black (trail saddle is two tone brown leather, dressage saddle is black) but like to accent with color - I love green! Ditty bag or bottle holster for saddle would be nice. Not into glitter or 'bling'.
Jams, preserves, jellies? Likes and any dislikes. Pretty much skip this category - but homemade salsa or pickles or things like that are nice.
Baking mixes, taco seasoning etc? I don't bake (am working on eliminating/reducing flour products) and am on a restricted salt diet.
Home decor? Do you like fun place mats, other kitchen stuff, picture frames? Place mats are fun! or napkins or coasters. We don't do many picture frames. Kitchen gadgets are always cool!
baked goods or candies. Chocolate? milk, white, dark? Lemon? Are you allergic to nuts or anything? No thanks! Hubby tends to eat it all.
Jewelry? List what you wear and style colors you like. I like two tone (gold/silver) or silver. Craftsy or modern styles seem to catch my eye the most. "Jewel Tones" for colors work well for me. Necklaces are fun but can't be too heavy.
Socks, slippers? mittens, fingerless gloves? scarves or stocking caps. I love wool socks - especially summer weight ones.
Dogs? cats? Both? Do they have diet restrictions? Dog - 50# older Australian Shepherd. She likes frisbee. Only diet restriction is to avoid grain.
Candles? Scented? Likes/dislikes. Candles - great! for scents, no "foods", citrus or herbal are nice.
Soaps, lotions, etc? I have dry skin, so something like moisturizing soap or lotion is welcome. No "fruity" scents but I like citrus, melon, herbs.
Misc - I like funny little desk toys, Herbal tea (am caffeine-free these days), "Floaty pens" (you know, you tip them and some "thing" floats over a back ground).
Thanks!

Ah, it appears that R4F didn't fill out her own questionnaire..... I guess that whoever gets her name needs to figure out how to get a bag of coal to her house.

Well, mine isn't till MUCH later in the year, but here goes, so I don't forget! LOL Horse accessories? Stable colors? Can you never have too many lead ropes, but you're drowning in halters? I really have all the horse stuff I think I could ever use! With the exception of grooming tools - I love the Oster brushes. A Horse-themed coffee mug maybe.Jams, preserves, jellies? Likes and any dislikes. ie I love most things rhubarb, not too fond of raisin based jams. I like jams, jellies not so much. I am especially fond or marmalades. A Pretty coffee mug that goes with jams is great!Baking mixes, taco seasoning etc? ie I like the convenience of a baking mix or hot drink powders but I prefer to shake in a little of this and that from my spices than to use a chile or taco blend and I never mix up a dip mix. Everything is from scratch, so not so much in this category. But coffee mugs that go with baked goods are an idea.Home decor? Do you like fun place mats, other kitchen stuff, picture frames? or are your walls are surfaces full and you prefer your buddy skips anything in this category? I love southwestern home decor of all kinds. A Southwestern style coffee mug is really cool!baked goods or candies. Chocolate? milk, white, dark? Lemon? Are you allergic to nuts or anything? Trying to limit gluten or flour but candy is good or don't want to get any kind of sweets? Dark Chocolate is my kind of chocolate. And a Chocolate colored coffee mug - there ya go!Jewelry? List what you wear and style colors you like. I wear a ton of Montana Slversmith, turquoise, natural stone or bead jewelry - necklaces can't be too heavy. Someone once gave me a stretchy beaded band that went on my coffee cup like jewelry.Socks, slippers? mittens, fingerless gloves? scarves or stocking caps. Love warm socks and slippers. They are especially nice in the morning while sipping coffe from one of my cool coffee mugs.Dogs? cats? Both? Do they have diet restrictions? Do you like to get stuff for them as gifts or prefer to buy their stuff personally and want your buddy to focus on you? Too many dogs and cats to count and all of them are spoiled rotten But I don't think I have any dog or cat coffee mugs - penguins, horses, and Eeyore, yes, but no cat or dog...Candles? Scented? Likes/dislikes. Not really into candles, but I love coffees and teas! And the mugs to drink them from.Soaps, lotions, etc? ie.I love the handmade soaps and scented body washes and lotions in lavender, citrus, cucumber, mints. I don't like most fruit or flower scents. Love soaps and lotions citrus and herbal. Like Linda I also have a Kindle - Amazon certificates are always a good thing I love to read and drink coffee or tea!And in case I forgot to mention it, Coffees, teas and COFFEE MUGS are among my favorite things!
