So once a week for 8 weeks we have a cross training session at the gym. Today was the first and didn't really know what to expect. It was 2 minute rounds of 6 exercises. 20 second work, 10 second rest (man! 10 seconds goes fast! 20 secs takes forever) for a total of 4 rounds per station - and then we did everything 3 times with a minute rest between. First was mountain climber, which I have never done and hope to never do again. Ditto on the burpees. Then ab twists - you sit on a mat and have a five lb weight that you move from side to side. Really hits the lower back. Then lunges. Then this HUGE long rope attached at the wall that you whip and circle. Really hits the shoulders. Jumping squats where you squat down and jump up. And then squats with weights. And yet, we all lived. We whined and complained and laughed like loons to get thru it, but we did it.

Snaffle, I haven't really noticed it but my riding trainer did mention it yesterday. :-)

It's always nice when someone else mentions it! I wish I could notice when people lose weight because I would like to tell them. But, unless they've gone from size 57 to size 3, I'm clueless.

Sounds like you are doing so well in your activities. I think I need to add in some new things.
