After I got hurt last year, I gained back all my weight plus a little.
When I had my yearly checkup with a new PCP, he did bloodwork and I am prediabetic. He sent me to a dietician last week. I have to get this off and exercise so I can keep from getting diabetic. No more procrastinating or just letting it go.

Wanna be workout buddies? I would do really much better if I had someone holding me accountable!

MJ you had been doing so good!! And you looked so great too. I can understand the set back after the injury. It happens to the best of us. Even happens to some of us and we don't even have to get injured Yep.. prediabetic... that certainly makes one stand up and take notice. I have heard of others in your situation and with correct eating and dieting they have stayed clear of the diabetes... On another note... I went to a funeral dinner today. Those are like a thanksgiving meal. The foods are always home made and delicous!! The desserts always fill a table. I worked on my brain waves before going... and I am proud to say that I did NOT overeat!! The only 'bad' food that I took was a spoonful of potato salad because I knew my mom brought it I looked over the desserts and stayed disciplined!!! I did not take on single piece of cake or pie!!! I am so proud of me!!!

I'm proud of you, I know those food spreads all too well. My main problem is portion control and lack of exercise. I am working on both.
