Each month I get a session at the gym with a trainer. Went last month and then again Saturday. There was very little change in my actual body measurements. Arms went up a little (muscle!), calves went up a little (NOT helping my tall boots fit any better) and pretty much everything else stayed the same. But I was down 11 lbs total from my last appt and dow 2.3% body fat. Wooohooo!!! And man, do I know how poor Aries feels with his tight hamstrings. Having done hay and then worked out yesterday, mine are just killing me. Ow, ow, ow, ow! Buttercup... signing off.

If you are building muscle AND losing weight, you are doing good, girl!
Aries says *misery loves company.*. :-)

WTG Tee. I am so glad this is working for you. I'm becoming active again but so frustrated with myself.

After I fell last year, I didn't exercise because it hurt for a long time - then I didn't eat well - and I gained back everything I lost + more.
I've just recently started walking again and found a wonderful trail a couple miles from me so have been taking Henry down there when he is here and also Max, the dog. Medically, I have been told to walk at least 5 hours a week and plan on walking more than that.

Why is it so easy and so much more enjoyable to pack it on than to take it off? Dang!!

PE, LOL! Too true.
MJ, it's tough. I gained back 35 lbs and was not overly happy with myself. But I'm back on track and it sounds like you are too. :-)

I am the queen of regain, and it is so hard. What I will say that now that I am losing again - down to a weight I was 5-6 years ago - I really feel so much better. it is sooo worth it - so try not to get too discouraged.
I have been going to the gym and doing some strength training and work out on the elliptical. Last night I did a water aerobics class that felt pretty easy at the time, but I am feeling it a little this morning!
