Apparently not me....as I sit here scarfing down a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie for lunch. Well, does the oatmeal part count toward good food? :-)

I am Snaffle I actually started it at Christmas....when I couldn't find anything in my closet that didn't make me look like I had potatos stuffed in there. Went to Curves today. I used to go when they were here in Plano but then they closed and I just stopped going. I had been jogging and although I like it it's not consistent enough to lose weight (only about 5 miles a week) so went to work out at Curves. And now I feel that slight little "ache" that means my muscles feel something but not enough to be sore....I did take it easy today and was able to talk all the way around 3 times And I have 20lbs to lose so I feel somewhat like myself again

I need too. I was doing so good with WW and then I got hurt, got off track and never went back and gained a lot back.

I started back in November, I think, though I've really ramped up the eating healthily part the last two weeks. I haven't lost any weight but am down a dress size (and down into medium sized belts again as opposed to the large size I wore up until yesterday).

pe oatmeal is one of those low glycemic foods that are good for us
snelson I have always thought you were simply beautiful, never would have guessed you had any weight to loose! Good for you for going back to curves.
MJ are you going to go back to WW? I have been thinking about joining. You were doing so well on it... hope you can get back in the groove
stephanie... down a dress size!! Oh my gosh... I have followed some of your postlings... didnt realize how well you have been doing!! That is wonderful... care to share some of your healthy eating habits?
Yesterday I ate much better than I have it weeks. Well at least I THOUGHT I did.
Scale is up one pound this morning.

I would like to lose 10 pounds, though realistically 5 would put me back to my "sweet" spot that my body likes to be at.
Right now I've adopted popcorn as my cheat....air popped, no toppings. I scarfed down huge bowls yesterday-and what's nice is that it's satisfying because of the crunch, and takes a while to eat it.
I do believe I'm going to pop some to take with me to work today.

Better take a LOT of popcorn. Trust me... when you take popcorn to work with you as your food... co-workers will share it

Snaffle...I added a huge salad to a meal a day. I put a whole tomato on it, two eggs, a half a cucumber, a little cheese, and 4 cups of spring mix/baby spinach mixed together. I have a couple of tablespoons of dressing too that I dip the fork in before spearing the salad. I've also started incorporating more vegetarian/vegan meals. I had this for a couple of days... ohsheglows.com/2011/01/21/red-quinoa-and-black-bean-vegetable-salad/ and it was really good. I'm trying these today: ohsheglows.com/2011/10/24/black-bean-and-butternut-squash-burritos/ I'm not going vegan, or even vegetarian, but I'm greatly limiting the meat I eat without labeling myself, lol. I am actually down a pound today, lol. I also burn an extra 300-500 calories each day through exercise so I earn my dressing!

Gosh...thanks Snaffle...I think the same about you and Reds...certainly doesn't look to me like you need to lose 40 lbs (and reds...you know 5 lbs is "vanity lbs" right?! ;D) mine all gathers in my waist...a little easier to hide it with the big oversized shirts I wear...notice I never wear anything that actually touches my stomach Great job Stephanie....I simply have a tough time eating salads more than one or two times a week. I know they are good for me and I know I just have to suck it up but it's sooooo hard. That's my *whine* for the day ;D

Lol! Normally I have problems with salad but I'm in love with the dressing...and really like eggs which I didn't used to do at home before.

Well, I'm in - I lost 10 lbs last summer, but gained back 3 over the holidays so now it's back on the diet! And if I can just get my butt on the treadmill regularaly again, it shouldn't be too awfully hard.

I think I'm back in. The issues I was having with my GI system slowed me down some (though I did lose a few pounds with it) but I want to get back to exercising again along with it. Now that I know the cause of the abdominal pain/discomfort I've been having (not totally or even mostly GI-related at ALL though it played a large part in the GI issues) and I'm working on that with my Dr, I should be able to start exercising again as the pain/discomfort decreases.

I've been on WW for a year now - lost 75 pounds as of October and pretty much maintaining there. But I want to lose 30 more pounds - so I have to really start tracking those points again and get with the program.
Snaffle - you can join WW online - never have to go to meetings - this is what I do. You just have to be accountable to yourself and track your points religiously every day!
And - I still eat chocolate every day - just not a whole candy bar or half a bag of whatever! The major changes I made were no ice cream in the half gallon or bigger containers, but still eat ice cream bars, and no bagels with butter every day for breakfast - I have my cup of dry Cheerios instead. And I switched to Arnolds sandwich thins/rounds for my bread - they come in many different "flavors" (whole wheat, honey wheat, flax and fiber...).

I need to lose 10 pounds. Although I haven't gained more than a couple of pounds, I feel like its all distributed in my gut. I have to get rid of this belly. Its driving me crazy.
