I can make that picture appear even more awesome. Gypsy never owned a horse until her kids were pretty much grown. Anything Chloe knows, Gypsy taught her. I've watched tapes of her racing, and they are amazing.
Her barrel horses are very nice trail horses, too!!!! A MN friend and I visited Iowa last fall, and Gypsy trailered us up to Volga Park and we spent the day ambling around the endless trails.....it was a special time.......good horses, good friends....doesn't get much better than that......

Aww....thanks Diane! And thanks Chris for posting it. Wish I had a picture of Jazz and I barrel racing.....next year!
Hey Di, found another place to ride up that way. Jazz and Gary teamed up and of course Chloe and I....yes, I know Houston needs to be ridden.....LOL! Jazz was awesome to watch. He smiled the whole time, I kid you not. He was looking at everything and not the "what can I spook at" look. He is so curious. For any of you that aren't aware of this the husband rides once a year whether he needs to or not. Jazz is my up and coming 1D barrel horse and I trust him enough on trails to put the hubby on him. When we do arena work and/or compete this horse needs to wear a tie down. He gets so excited (not stupid excited, he loves barrel racing) going around the barrels that his head pops up and then the rest of him. I put a tie down on him to help him maintain his balance. This is the only time he wears one. We trail ride with a very simple bit and no tie down.
