Since it was snowed out last time... Grr. I'm up, as bright eyed and bushy tailed as a grumpy skunk, need coffee, muuust have coooffeee. Anyway, so we're going to weight loss by hypnosis this morning, I'm leaving right shortly. I've been doing well with keeping foods away from me. This week I had 2 treats, a chocolate bar on a rather rough day... but I ate it NICE and slow... and loved every minute of that coffee crisp. And last night we had pizza for dinner, I bought greek pizza for myself, with tomatoes, black olives, green pepper, spanish onions, feta cheese and a dash of parmesan. I had 3 smaller pieces with a glass of milk. I have really been trying to get more fiber in... tomato soup at lunch, with a large orange... that's all I really want to eat. By the time I'm done that I'm not hungry anymore! My mornings are either a slice of brown bread and peanut butter, or a bowl of Special K vanilla almond cereal with skim milk. I don't really snack.. I've been keeping off the food at daycare. (unless it's veggies and dip, or yogurt and berries, or fruit and yogurt dip) My nights have been messed up this week. Trying to make healthy dinners with lots of veggies... but finding the guys have hockey, upon hockey and I've been early this week, I'm so drug out by the time I get home. But it's coming along! Hope everyone else is keepin' to it!

Just got back.. the hypnosis went well... I think I fell asleep during it.. it was a strange feeling really. I don't remember all of what she said while I was "down".. and she snapped me out of it... and I felt hungry... and therefore I felt let down... BUT... it WAS 12:30 and the last time I ate was 8am! LOL So I ate some lunch, had a garden vegetable soup at hand, half a chicken bacon sammich on whole wheat toast (one slice cut in half)... only ate half the sandwich and gave the rest to Buddy. and ate about 3/4 of a ring of pineapple and I can't eat anymore. So I think this is good! She made us all a Positive image CD... which is actually relaxation noises... with subliminal messaging on loving your body, loving who you are, and you can accomplish your goals, because you love yourself. I listened to it all the way home in the car... wow... what a peaceful happy feeling that CD gives me. I have 2 more sessions... the next following Saturdays. She is interested in teaching me reiki on Tripper.. She is a medium, psychic and reiki therapist. She gave me an awesome reading about a year ago. And she is interested in reading animals. I asked if she would be interested in coming to see my horses, and performing reiki on Tripper for his knees, and she is interested, but she said "He is really attached to you, I think it would benefit him so much more if I taught you how to do it on him. " Yay! What a nice morning!

How VERY cool!!! Mark had some hypnosis done on him for smoking, it worked for a while. But then he is NOT good about finishing things. I want to try it too for weight loss. It can only help.

oh good luck with the hypnosis!! you have great determination!!! oooohhh you like special K almond cereal!! me !!! I was switching back and forth between the strawberry spec K and the almond ... and then one day I read the nutrition bar.... went back to the regular special K!!! last week I started having oatmeal for breakfast.. not the quick oats.. the old fashioned,, they have a better glycemic value. so far I cant have them plain.. I am adding 3 drops of maple flavor..and 3 or 4 drops of stevia... (stevia has NO calories!!) keep up the good work alenka!!! I am sooo impressed!!!

stevia is good stuff. Its not like the nutrasweet and stuff that is nothing but nasty chemicals. Its kinds like chocolate and carob, they taste the same but one is much better for you. You know we lived in a house when I was in high school that had a huge carob tree in the front yard and our poodles would eat the carob pods. If I had only known that they tasted like chocolate......

I used a hypnosis thing a long time ago... I got the weight off and felt so good and relaxed after a session! They had us keep a food diary to hand in each week - the coach would make specific suggestions to us, or if they noticed a trend among everyone they would address that.
