what do you think of this:
Sprouted Grain Bread Ingredients: Organic whole sprouted wheat, raisin juice, seseme seeds, water, sunflower seeds, vital wheat gluten, malt, yeast, sea salt
per slice:
Cal 100 fat 1.5 g (0 trans fat) fiber 5 g protein 5 g
Comes out as one WW point, and I love it toasted, but I am curious what you think about it for general nutrition. I wasnt eating much bread and am now having a couple of slice of this per day since it tastes so good and doesn't have that diet bread cardboard thing going on.

Sounds great to me!!! I've been eating the high fiber, low fat, organic type breads too. I LOVE them. Very filling too.

Looks excellent. I don't eat the fake stuff, either.
It is never satisfying, and just seems to pass through. This stuff will stick with you!

Is this bread like the Eziekel bread? It is usually sold in health food stores in the freezer section but our grocery store just started carrying it in the freezer section also.

I would definitely reach for this before the diet breads! Ugh, I really dislike them. Bread is food. It should have flavor.

my thoughts were like MJ's
is this Ezekial? the sprouted bread from ezekial is supposed to be the BEST nutritionally...
I didnt care for it the first few times I had it.. I even had to put a little butter on it .. and had to always toast it. now I can eat it dry and untoasted. I keep it in the freezer until I need a slice. 2 slices is toooo many for me to eat.. it is soooo filling. costs a ton more.. but well worth it.
call it food and I will eat it ;D

The bread I have is called Squirrelly Bread and I found it at Costco. I love it toasted, since that roasts the seseme seeds and stuff.

Oh now wait a minute...
Snaffle can eat it dry and untoasted? Mary Ann LOFFS it? YUCK. I think Ezekial bread is rather...um...well...let's just say that eating it sucks all the moisture out of your mouth...and then your throat as you swallow it.

I am planning to place an order un february.. cause Cherokee and I are going to need more unsweetened.. no sugar/no apple juice/no grape juice added... Cranberry juice!!!
