Life is a succession of moments, seconds and minutes. To live each one is to succeed.
***********************
Can you be sucessful for just this moment?
Forget tomorrow, or this weekend, or next week.
How about right now?

That's really beautiful! And quite empowering. And I am successfully sitting here clacking away before I successfully go out and feed my horses! Then I'll come back in and successfully start some bread rising and then call and order my feed from the feedstore. I'll be successful with that, and will be pleased when the feed arrives in my bins on Wednesday! I'd better be successful about leaving them a check!

Great! I started my "new year" last Tuesday since I figured out that New Year's resolutions on NY's day don't work for me - that is a very stressful time at work, lots of OT, etc and I am in survival mode then.
Anyway, this year I decided to do it a bit differently - I thought about how I wanted my life to be @ 12/31/07 and have goals, but then I'm setting mini-goals each week to get there. I had a bunch of "mini-goals" for last week. My 2nd week starts today. Tonight I will re-cap how I did last week and firm up my "mini-goals" for this week. I did really well on some, not well on others. Anyway, to get a bit back more to the point of your quote - I was thinking this morning that it is like today is a "new day" again and I get to start all over with my goals. It is sort of like being able to make NY's resolutions every week - I can forget the past week and move forward.
Because that is where my mind is this morning, I read your quote and was thinking - this is like every moment is a new beginning, a new chance to suceed at what I need to do that moment.
