We went to Sheyboygan to celebrate my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary. We stayed in a condo with my in-laws - there were 12 of us all together staying at this waterpark condo place. Anyway...I felt like I burned a lot of calories taking the kids to the waterpark, but then we ate like pigs when we got back. We went out for lunch and of course the portions are huge etc etc... I am going to have to detox from all the crap I ate. I was bored out of my mind when were weren't at the waterpark. I'm not one that does well sitting around doing nothing... Now I'm bummed and I want it to be tomorrow so I can drink a ton of water and eat healthier.

Well, at least you can recognize what happened, and can get right back on track tomorrow.
One weekend does not undo all of the good you are trying to accomplish.

Thank heavens I'm not the only one...I completely blew my weekend, too. Tomorrow will be a major day of drinking cranberry juice and water (100 percent, pure, organic, nasty, no sugar, must dilute it with gobs of water just to stand it, cranberry juice).
You're not alone.

dont beat yourself up because of one weekend!!
you can start fresh tomorrow... drink lots of water to help flush out your system...and eat healthy.
sometimes we just have to have those ... special occassions.

Heck ya gotta let the hair hang down sometimes. Tomorrow is another day to start anew. I actually think its good to blow it big time once in a while-keeps your body guessing.

Lori's 6 wk diet thread link recommends 'cheating' 2 days of the week the first couple weeks of dieting.

If it was a horse and you got bucked off, we'd tell you to climb right back up there and ride. The good news is a day of being off your diet won't make you creaky or sore!

Getting back on the horse is much more fun than getting back on the diet... I did pretty well today though. I've been eating this Kashi cereal for breakfast and I don't know whats in it, but it makes me really full...so I was thinking maybe I'd eat that for lunches too. I have to get a tooth crowned next week, so then I can eat fruit again. Darned cold sensitive fractured tooth.

Which Kashi cereal is it that you like? I need to find a new cereal and I would like to feel full in the morning while eating healthily (sp).

Thanks Newfygirl - I bought the cereal today and will try it out in the morning. I'll have to hide it from DH. He is a cereal fiend. He makes a suicide cereal every evening.
