I'm not having hot flashes anymore. I wonder if its another wonderful offshoot of eating more healthy? ;D

Wouldn't that be awesome.
I really think that there is more than one benefit to eating healthy. Sure weight loss is great! But, there are so many other positive changes and results.

You know Marci, you really make me wonder. I eat pretty carefully most of the time. Meaning no junk, no processed stuff, etc. I just eat too much for my body. (I have a lumberjack appetite and mouse sized housing! ) I've always been really lucky on the menopause symptoms. My hot flashes are more like warmups, and I really sort of like them. I've been cold for years! No night sweats like everybody talks about, with soaked sheets and all that. I take my arms out of the covers for a bit, and then put them back in. Easy. My doctor speculated that my symptoms were a piece of cake because I've had a total of about two years in my whole life on birth control. Her feeling is that women who don't take it get lighter menopause symptoms. I dunno; I know people who fixed their hubbies like I did that aren't having an easy time. Maybe it *is* better nutrition.

Yeah but dang it, right now while its cold I could actually use some hot flashes. LOL But it does mean I can dig out my sweaters and sweats again. I haven't been able to wear them in 8 years. Mine have never been very bad either, but I have to have the whole body exposed at night-but I don't sweat like a pig at least. I hope it keeps up.

I wonder why we say "sweat like a pig?" Pigs have very few sweat glands and actually have to go in water or a wallow of mud to stay cool.
Congratulations on no hot flashes Marci.
