So, what exercize did you do, or are you doing today? I finished 45 minutes on the treadmill, and a 20 minute Intro to Power Yoga by Baron Baptiste. Love Baron! ;D Hate Baron! I decided that the P90X would be too extreme for me, so I am awaiting my Slim in 6 and Slim series DVD's from Beachbody. Got 'em off eBay. ;D

This is probably the hardest area for me. Not sure what I will do today. I might brave the elements and go to the gym this afternoon?

You can accomplish anything!
You don't have to go to the gym.
Sitting on the computer like me right now?
Step away, do a few situps, and a few pushups. Come back.
There, you did something!
Watching TV later today?
Get off the couch. March in place during the commercials.
See? You got something in!
You can do anything for 5 minutes at a time, do that 6 times today, and you have half an hour.
It will become addicting, so that you will want to make the time, no matter what your choice is!

Man the wind just came up! I'll still do my long walk to the mailbox, but maybe I'll sit on my exercise ball instead of my chair this afternoon - I find it works my core a little and improves my balance. (just not ready yet to do the real exercises!)
good point, marching in place 5 minutes, six times a day adds up!

Thanks Lori. I need the motivation today, it's so cold out and icy, I walked the dogs 2 blocks and was slipping and sliding. I am drinking all fluids today for tomorrows colonoscopy so was kind of being lazy and unmotivated.
I will go walk in place now. Step - Step - Step.

I was recess supervisor today and instead of staying in one spot and watching, I walked laps around the playground. Got some exercise and was able to stay on top of the playground all at the same time!

tonight... I -plan- to take Buddy for a walk around town. It's really cold outside... so I may only get to be out for a while if the wind chill picks up, but I hope to do about 25 minutes to 30 minutes of a nice brisk walk with him I will then come back and do 10 minutes on my stepper to warm back up! BRRrr.. I try to get my stepper in when I can, but the blasted thing hurts my knee.. I want to trade it for Kathy's elliptical. we might do that this weekend. She wants to change it up with me once and a while.

I ran with my squadron yesterday...just 2.5 miles, but I talked C into passing a total of nine people, so we ended up running quite a bit faster than normal, since we would pass one person and I'd point to a clump of three and say, now we need to get them! Just giving us little goals. Then I tried an hour long kickboxing class last night, man, that was torture. We'll have pt tomorrow, and then I'd like to go to the gym on Sunday, if I can force myself to. The base is under a five day exercise next week, so the gym won't be open and you can't be outside unless you have a reason to...not to mention that after 12 hours shifts I don't feel like doing anything but sleeping once I'm done anyway. I need to start working out four times a week after this exercise...at least until the next one. That kinds of sucks...having a week each month where I can't work out at all, but it's livable.

I rode today. Hey a 1/2 hour on a jiggy trot bareback IS exercise. Then I got home and hubby had made it back with some LOVELY hay, only 4 bales but I helped stack them. I want to go back and get more, its beautiful bentgrass. Tomorrow is workout day at the gym.

Stefanie, you have a squadron? Better then I gym I say!
I did 40 minutes on the eliptical trainer today. I feel that I have lost ground since the broncitis, but it is hard to judge since I am working at a higher intensity/resistance. It felt hard.

I'm still struggling with this one. I did walk park on the third floor at work today and walked the 2 stories down to work and then back up again at lunch. Normally I take the elevator.

Sounds like everyone is making some sort of strides.
That is good!
I am still doing Baron Baptiste in the morning, followed by 42 minutes on the treadmill.
Waiting on my DVD series to arrive. Then, I do that instead.

I'm a slug. I shoveled out four stalls yesterday in the cold, and rode Andy, schooling mostly at trot for about 45 minutes. In the cold. *whine whine*

Still waiting on my Slim in 6 series. So, today, I did Billy Blanks basic TaeBo. Got it, and some other TaeBo tapes for free at the end of a garage sale, LOL! Never had so much FUN. Got my A$$ kicked, though.
