I always thought I used to be thinner/smaller. The other day, a gal I used to work with 20 years ago sent me some photos. She would come to visit me and my horse at the barn where I boarded... sigh, I was big as a house then too.
I hadn't realized what a habit this was! Well, nothing like starting immdiately! ;D
My book just arrived yesterday (You: on a diet) I've read the first few chapters. Funny thing, my hubby seems to eat like they advocate - always the olive oil and walnuts, oatmeal, etc. And he hikes anywhere from 30-90 minutes nearly every day. Maybe I should just copy hubby? In any event, even if I don't copy him fully, he is a good model. (I just can't eat my veggies raw or as much pasta as he does - but then he burns off more than I do.)

I was appalled when I saw what I looked like on video during my class last month.

I know I want to get rid of the secondary wave. You know, the one that waves opposite your hand from under your upper arm when you are greeting someone. The one that makes you look as if you are going to fly away.

Joye and I call those "goodbyes." You wave your hand and then you stop your hand, but your arm fat keeps on waving. We have lots of names for our fat.

You deserve a NEW jacket when you lose a few! And then when you get too skinny for that, you can give it to the thrift store. In fact, you should buy it at the thrift store too, and then when you dump it you won't feel bad.

Oh Chris we are just a bunch of young skinny women trapped in fat old people bodies. LOL Pretty soon we will show how we feel we are on the inside, outside. Was that said like a true blond. LOL Yeah I have the back fat, the wavy arms thing, and my thighs giggle like crazy at a trot. Ahh but under it all is a sexy, skinny, active person just aching to get out.
