I noticed your new avatar - you on a horse! Yeah! 50 miles, here you come!
I think I was trying to think of myself more as a rider too, when I changed from my "outstanding in her field" to my "Happy Trails" avatar.

Chris did horse and rider or one of those magazines carry a story of your first 50? I think I remember reading it...years ago and thinking wow. Was that you?

yes, Marci. That was me in Western Horseman. About my first 50. You've got a good memory gf!
I showed this picture to my granddaughter over Christmas.She said, "that was when you were younger." LOL

LOL yep that sounds like a grandmother. I don't really have a good memory but I really thought how cool. I have long wanted to do an endurance ride, but I am afraid that with my knee....I'm stuck as an endurance wanna be. LOL At least until I get my gaited horse.
You are very lucky to have your grandmother still, mine passed away long, long, time ago.

Marci, I don't have my grandmother. she passed away about 25years ago. I still miss her terribly.
