We were at FIL's the other night and there was V8 splash in the frig...Matthew requested that I get some for him. At WalMart today I picked some up...and saw some new V8 Fusion... V8 Splash contains 10 percent juice...and high fructose corn syrup is 2nd on the ingredient list. I stopped reading there, figuring that will be Matthew's drink and I will leave it. V8 Fusion contains 100 percent juice...and on the ingredient list it states it has water plus juice concentrates from different veggies...and listed those....and water plus fruit juice contcentrates. Less than 2 percent of the juice contains different additives...none of them being "sugar" or "high fructose corn syrup" I am hiding that from Matthew and will drink it myself.

Fusion is interesting. For people that don't like veggies or fruits, it's a nice choice. Also it's good for getting a bit of nutrition on the run. It beats the pants off of soda! But it does seem to me that a person would be better off having a fruit and a veggie so that you'd have increased satiety.
My grandsons love it!

I've actually taken to drinking Trpoicana Veggie... which is pretty much v8. It comes in mild and spicy... I pretend I'm drinking ceasars and stick a pickle in it. MMmm pickles... Just watch the juice intake, juice is high carb, and high calorie! You can gain by drinking too much... keep it to the food guid for your fruit intake for the day, 1 glass of juice is equal to one serving of fruit, plus added sugar. That's why I like Veggie Drinks... low calorie and carb, and very very little sugar.... (and it's good with vodka. MUHAHHAA)
