years ago in Wisconsin, one of my best buddies was married to a psychologist. She was a personal fitness trainer and gained about 80 pounds when she was pregnant
I was thin at the time and horrified for her. She told me, "don't worry. When I don't need this weight anymore, it will come off."
I've thought about that a lot.
Ever since I've started making progress on my new personal goal to disentangle myself from this relationship, I've been steadily losing weight. Yes, I'm trying harder to lose, but is it that, or is it the emotional factor? I don't need the weight anymore for a self defense mechanism? I don't want to hide from the world anymore, I want to be out in it.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm . food for thought (and there's no calories in food for thought)

Chris, that's a great point. If anybody thinks it's just about eating too much, they're missing the boat.
