I was watching tv the other night and there was a show that was talking about campfire cooking. The lady was making all this really neat stuff in her dutch oven but I know the bread she made would go great in the oven too. I've not made it yet but wow does it ever sound easy
Take a can of bisquits and open them up but don't tear them apart, just unroll them out of the can
Cook up some ground sausage, throw in some onion and mushrooms if you want?
Law out some tinfoil and pat the bisquit dough flat and squish em out to form a loaf, long and narrow.
Take a knife and just cut slits into the dough
put down slices of Provolone cheese onto the dough
Drain the sausage and then put it ontop of the cheese. The lady said to not over do it with the sausage
put some cut up tomatoes ontop of the sausage and then some sliced black olives.
Next sprinkle some shredded cheese, what ever you happen to like
Fold over the slits, like your braiding it. Fold the tin foil around the dough and put it in the oven.
Since the lady was using a dutch oven she didn't say a temp but I'd say maybe 350 degrees?
Anyway this looked so very easy to make! Let me know if you make it
