Just wondering if anyone could identify this... was at a family dinner with Rods family this past weekend, his sister made this dessert that is TO DIE FOR! Too bad his sister and I don't get along well, so i'm not about to call her for a recipe lol.
Its a cake, but it has the kind of filling that lemon merangue pie has.. and graham crumbs on the bottom. She layered it with a bunch of whipped cream.. OMG it was good! First dessert in a long time that didn't taste too heavy for me!
Anyone know what his is? Geez it was good!

I'm not sure what you're describing, but lots of times people use lemon curd as a filling for cakes. It's extra moist and lemony, kind of like the filling in lemon merengue pies except a bit thicker and more lemony. I loff it in summertime in a plain sponge cake, and I loff it in winter on scones.

MA I swallowed my pride and asked her today when she came by my house and dropped off some cookie dough I bought for one of her daughters gymnastics fundraisers. I geuss its a modified sex in a pan recipe, with lemon pie filling, and she mixed cream cheese with whipped cream for the icing... mmm it was SO good! I'm gonna have to make some!
