They are pretty simple, but I wanted to help out.
Mint Sweet Iced tea
5 regular lipton’s or your favorite brand tea bags
1 mint tea bag
1 cup sugar
Gallon sized pitcher
In a small saucepan boil water, when it reaches boiling drop your tea bags in and let steep 3 minutes. Meanwhile add the cup of sugar to the pitcher and add a small amount of lukewarm water. Pour in the steeped tea and stir this warm mixture to dissolve the sugar, then fill pitcher the rest the way up with cold water or cold water and ice cubes. Serve over ice.
Party punch
2 pkgs tropical punch flavored drink mix(kool – aid or off brand)
1 can of pineapple juice
1 two liter bottle ginger ale
2 cups sugar
Dissolve the 2 cups sugar and the pkgs of drink mix in some warm water in your punch bowl. Add the can of pineapple juice(this should be a large can about 2 quarts in size). Add about a quart of water. Then add the gingerale. Taste if it is too strong add more water to taste. This is good for kids parties.
Sore Throat Tea
2 Earl Grey tea bags
½ cup sugar
½ cup milk
Very large mug
Place the Earl Grey tea bags into the mug and pour on a cup or so of very hot water. Let steep three minutes. Remove the bags and add the other ingredients. Sip for a sore throat. This works in two ways. Sugar kills bacteria, and also Earl Grey contains Oil of Bergamot, which soothes sore throats. Of course it is no substitute for a doctor, but it is a soothing drink.
Naughty Milkshake
Vanilla or chocolate ice cream (your fav)
Milk
Ice
Shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur
In a blender, add a couple scoops of ice cream a little milk to thin a couple ice cubes or pieces and your shot of baileys, blend until smooth and desired consistency. (you could do this with chocolate ice cream and Kailua(sp) for a mocha shake.
