Scotcheroos
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal 1 cup light corn syrup 1 cup sugar 1 cup peanut butter 1 package (6 ounces - 1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 package (6 ounces - 1 cup) butterscotch chips
Place corn syrup and sugar into large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Mix well. Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated. Press mixture into 9 x 13 pan coated with butter/margarine or cookin spray. Set aside.
Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together in microwave safe bowl in 1 minute increments until melted (or put in small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until melted). Spread evenly over cereal mixture. Let stand until firm. Cut into bars when cool.
If you can't stand to wait - refrigerate until chocolate topping is hard - then cut into bars!
