Surfing around e-bay, I came across some blisex that I think is the kind that I haven't been able to find. SPF 40, with a flip top lid. VERY handy when riding and driving, and I'm addicted to Blistex. So I e-mailed the seller and asked if it had a flip top lid. What do I get for an answer? "It has cap. Please see pictures. LVN" Yeah, like I was thinking it didn't have a cap??? I e-mailed them back in much more detail. I asked if had a pop-top cap which came off the tube when it was removed, or a flip-top cap that stayed attached to the tube when it was opened. I THINK they should be able to figure out what I mean. At least I hope so. LOL

How dare you want to know something so specific! Bad, bad customer. You are just suppose to send money and not worry about the details ;D
I have never seen chap stick with a top that flipped up for application. It sounds very handy. Linda

Ooh ooh ooh! I have one of those flip top Blistexes! And I loff it! I don't know where I got it, but it's heavenly! It goes in my purse with me where ever I go. I absolutely must get more if this runs out! I never for a single moment thought of buying anything like that on eBay! You really are an eBay junkie if you surf for chapstick! ;D

I haven't been able to find the flip top lids for a while. I even e-mailed the company. They no longer make them. I found some at a sporting goods store a couple years ago and bought several tubes, but they are running low. Heck, you can find anything on e-bay, so I' thought I'd give it a chance. I'm guessing the seller didn't like my response, as I haven't heard back yet. Darn it! But if I do hear back and it's the right kind, I'll let you know.

Can't you save the flip tops to put on new tubes?

Might be worth a try, but I don't know if they have the clicky thing for the top to latch on to.
I probably just made it worse with that explanation; let's just say 'it might not fit.'

Geeezzzz! Isn't the customer always right? Good thing she sells on ebay, because it doesn't sound like shes a real "people" person.
