Yeeaah Tricia!!! You freaking GO, girl!!! It may be too late for your sister to make meaningful changes in her life, but it's not too late for her kids. I'm so glad to hear of this breakthrough! You all have been in my thoughts and prayers, and it's great to see some of them answered. I'll be on pins and needles waiting for Saturday. I'm sure there won't be anything to post until Sunday, but I'm still thinking of you. (((((HUGS))))) Yeah!!!  |

You have all my prayers and good thoughts. Sometimes it seems like CPS is more concerned about themselves than the welfare of the chidlren that they are here to protect  I pray that the information you gave will be enough to get them caught and for Misty to be able to straighten out her life and be a better mother to her children. |

Tricia - I have been praying for you and the kids everyday - I'm so glad to read an update, and I pray that those kids will get out of that situation. Until Misty WANTS to get help, she never will, but those kids don't have a choice, and I pray that they will end up with a better life than what they are leading now.

You remain in our prayers, too. Thank you for keeping us up-to-date. If those kids are fortunate enough to get taken away from C and Misty and they come to stay with you, please let us know -- I will want to send a little something for you and them.

I am going thru and deleting all my posts on the kids.
It was brought to my attention that someone could read this that might have the intent to harm me or the kids. Wouldn't want to get you all in the middle of my mess.

Gosh, I was wondering how it was that I started this thread! I thought maybe I didn't get enough coffee this morning.
You did the right thing, Tricia. Did you know that you can use the PM feature to put stuff up for members of the board you choose to notify, and it won't be available to the public? Of course, you need to be able to trust the people you PM....
