I went to BFs house Friday afternoon. He was out back playing with the dogs. I go out there, and he mentioned that Bobby (one of his cats) left a big mud pile on his car. Got done with the dogs, went to wash the car... only upon closer look it's not mud, it's blood! And quite a substantial amount. We find all three cats, get them in the house and check them over really good. Not a mark on any of them. Well, Striker had a TINY, TINY scratch on his nose, and Bobby had a little blood on the fur of one hind foot. But no injuries, and Patches is mostly white, and there was no trace of blood on her. Checked the car, there are bloody cat prints going up the hood, blood scattered over the windshield and a pool of blood on the hood, then a few more prints going down the back window. The pool of blood was probably about 8" or so. More than if a cat had gotten a bird or mouse. We saw no fur or feathers on or around the car. Called neighbor Bob to check his cats, they are fine. We are totally puzzled as to what it could be.

You may never know. That was very kind of you to have the neighbor check his cats too. I hate mysteries like this Linda

Hopefully the kitty is OK where ever it went off to.
