We have a long weekend off, and the forecast calls for not just sunshine, but temps that are actually quite reasonable 31-48 degrees over the next several days. I am psyched! We have been experiencing a mix of cold and clear combined with warmer and really wet. Nice to get above freezing temps AND sunshine in February. This time of year, I always think I should live in Florida or something. I like our summers though.
Going to Boston on business again next week where it looks like I will be freezing my tush off again, but at least I am not following on the heels of a blizzard this time.

Our mud froze. It looks like a moonscape out there. Rain comes Sunday. I'm counting the days 'til spring.

We're having some cool weather, too. Today, it's "only" supposed to get up to 62 . . . Tomorrow's high is expected to be 65 and Sunday's 72. Hmm . . . maybe I can get some riding time in Sunday afternoon, after church . . . We have a birthday party and t-ball practice tomorrow so I'm not sure we can squeeze in some riding time tomorrow.

BTW, I don't think I'll EVER get past "Rider" status as I'm still unable to post as myself from my home 'puter. I got it fixed once (don't ask me how) but now, even if I log in on the front page, as soon as I click on a forum link or ANY link, I'm suddenly a guest again. So the only time I can log in and post is at work and, of course, I can't post too much from here because I'm supposed to be (and am) working (most of the time!).

Rhapsody, weather complaints are only allowed from Florida during hurricane season, and then you can complain ALOT. ;D

LOL! Well, I wasn't really complaining about the weather today - I was actually bragging! You can expect me to complain during July and August when the heat and humidity are so bad that you can only ride at night comfortably but even that's not comfortable or even advisable because of the mosquitos and the danger of WNV or EEE (horses are vaccinated but I'm not!). Oh, and during hurricane season also . . . but only if we're directly affected (e.g., Ivan).
