What is your preferred brand/flavor of ice cream? Do ya do any toppings, or are you an ice cream purist? I've been on a Breyer's French Vanilla with caramel & chocolate sauce bender lately, but I do so love Ben & Jerry's Mint Cookie or Coffee Heath Bar. Mmmmm...

Schwans Caramel.... OMG.. it's sinful! I can't get anymore or I'll eat it! It is out of this world!
other than that, I loff ben and jerry's cherry garcia... and really good chocolate chris

I can resist most ice cream, but not Breyer's Mint Chocolate Chip. If I know there's any of that in the freezer, I just can't leave it alone.
Of course, that's why I never buy it!

I had a near religious experience recently with Ben and Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch. Was I mad when I was in the grocery yesterday, and they didn't have any! Just Heath Bar in vanilla. What were they thinking??! Ice cream is by far my favorite food. But it's gotta be the good stuff! And I like things in it! Fruit, nuts, candy, swirls, something. Not just plain. Mint Cookie sounds righteous.

I like Ben & Jerrys Pistacio Pistacio or Chunky Monkey. With these flavors you don't need toppings!! ;D Linda H.

and I don't even like coffee. I could shoot my sister for introducing this flavor to me (Baskin Robins is even better.) I can resist most others but not that one. I won't buy it because I will eat it, but my DH does when he goes to the store.

Ohhhhh, Jamocha Almond Fudge..... mmmmm.....
There isn't a Baskin Robbins anywhere close anymore. Probably the best thing that's ever happened to my butt.

I like almost any flavor with chocolate and nuts in it, but my current favorite flavor has Reese's peanut butter cup chuncks in it. I don't really like eating Reese's straight, but in ice cream it is awesome. Also, I don't waste calories on the cheap stuff, premium (ie high fat) ice cream is the good stuff.

I don't think there is a type of ice cream that is bad. I love heaveny hash but anything with chocolate and nuts is great, ohhh and carmel. Yummy. But then again you can't beat plain old homemade vanilla with thick hot fudge, and carmel over it and then add the whipped cream and top it with a cherry and OMG dreamy. sigh. Great now I have to go back to the store.

Marci, there's an ice cream shop in a little town close to us. We stop there after riding in a local state park. They serve something called a Black Forest Sundae. They use a soft serve or hand dipped vanilla, then top it with hot fudge and these sweet/tart cherries. OMG, it's wonderful!
Sometimes hubby and I drive down there and eat one of those sundaes, and call it dinner. They're sooo good!

I almost never eat ice cream. However, when I do, the only kind I REALLY like is B&J's From Russia With Buzz. That stuff is addictive! ;D

Oooooh, Ben & Jerry's USED to make one called the Full VerMonty...it was the BEST ICE CREAM EVER. It was a mapley praline kind, with a caramel swirl, and omg, I'd sell my left leg for some right now. Pralines & cream types are awesome, as are really well made butter pecan with caramel drizzled over the top. Mmmmmmm...

A confession here. I just self-medicated with some Cherries Garcia frozen yogurt. And I had an avocado for dinner, with some balsamic vinegar in the cup. Weird dinner, but it was dee-licious!

When we were in Florida I discovered pints of Dove ice cream. All I'd ever seen prior to that were the Dove bars. In my opinion Dove is better than Haagen Daasz. My favorite flavor in the Dove pints is Unconditional Chocolate. It is chocolate ice cream with a fudge ripple with Dove chocolate chunks mixed in. And to top it off, there is a thin layer of Dove chocolate ganache on the top. ;D If it isn't chocolate, I'm not interested. ;D Luckily for me they introduced the Dove pints up here not too long after the first of the year. Here I was getting ready to pack up and move to Florida for the ice cream! Kris
