Great news about Elexis

I know a few of you have been following Elexis's journey and this is the latest update on her caringbridge.org page. I am so happy for her family and so thankful that she is doing so well.

Dr. Lewis has given me the great news! I am outa here! After I get my IVIG, I am able to go back to Edmonton for good! Hurrah!!! Everyone says I'm doing great and I am feeling better every day. My weight is still a problem, but I am starting to level out at 26.5 Kilograms. Not bad. I would like to thank everyone at the Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary for giving me back hope and a chance to plan the dreams I have been holding onto since my Leukemia started. The staff in Calgary are smart, kind, sincere and even sometimes a little goofy too! It's been great getting to know everyone! Edmonton, look out! I'm coming back and I can't wait to see everyone...my family, friends, animals and the good people at the Stollery Children's Hospital. Thank you to everyone who has e-mailed me. It was soooooooooooooo good to hear from all of you! Love, Elexis

Paula, This is great news! I think you should celebrate wildly with her--like take her out to see your horses as soon as she is able.
