I've been thinking about your little dog. Is he getting better?

Aww Chris, you're such a sweetie to ask! He's doing much better! He kind of sort of runs, but not very comfortably. After his last adjustment, he could put his paws up on my knees. Before, he'd just sit at my feet and cry. He also resumed flipping on his back for raspberry noises. He's down to one fourth of a Deramaxx each day, and will probably stay on that for a couple of weeks, more if necessary. His gait is still disturbed, but is immediately improved after each adjustment. He goes back again on Thursday. One day at a time. Thanks so much for asking!

I hope he continues to improve. I know it took a long time for Bubba to come back from his paralysis. He still squatted to pee for 6 months, but every day I could see improvements. For a long time, he dragged his right hind leg, but he's doing well now. It was so worth taking him to Dr. Drew.

Bubba gives me a lot of encouragement. What a sweet dog! Do you still see any gait abnormalities? You are so fortunate to have a chiro of Dr. Drew's quality in your area! He's top drawer stuff!

Mary Ann, he does still have some abnormalities. His back end is progressively getting weaker and he's building up strength in his shoulders, but he still gets around and runs and jumps. Sometimes he has a little difficulty jumping up on our bed and we have to scooch him from behind, (he sleeps with us).
I think his problem also is from a huge lipoma on his right hind leg. Three vets have told us to leave it alone that it would cause more problems to have it removed.
