My oldest got really really sick yesterday - so dizzy he thought he would collapse, fever of 102, vomiting, extreme muscle pain, serious grouchiness etc. He had been fine on Saturday, but woke up Sunday saying his lungs hurt and things quickly escalated from there. I took him to the walk in clinic because his symtoms seemed so severe to me and I was paranoid since my husband got a pretty bad case of pneumonia in December since he refused to go to the doctor even when it was clear he had lost the war. Anyway, I found out they now have anti-virual meds to decrease flu symptons. I am amazed at the improvement in just 24 hours. I guess it really only works if you start dosing at the very beginning of the symptoms, but so far I am impressed with the improvement. He is still coughing, but seems to have rejoined the living. I vomited my lunch up today but made it through the workday. Came home and went to bed, but so far the symptoms have not progressed, so maybe I am allergic to Lean Cuisine rather then having the flu! I am however feeling very grumpy Sheryl

I feel for you. It swept thru our family over Thanksgiving. The only thing that made me feel better was sipping Gatorade (something I don't usually like)

Aww Sheryl, I hope you're okay this morning! My heart goes out to you. Maybe you need to get some of the anti-viral your son got.
How're you doing now?
