at McDonalds, LOL! I was wanting a cup of coffee, but hadn't put any cash in my purse. I rummaged around for change and came up with 90 cents. Went to the drive through and ordered a small coffee. Got to the window and it was 97 cents!
I told the lady, I was sorry, but I'd have to let her keep the coffee, I didn't have enough money.
She (a kid) looked at me and said, don't you qualify for the senior discount?
I told her I had an AARP card, if that qualifies me. She said, well if you are over 50....
so I got my coffee for 43 cents, LOL!

LOL I just have to laugh, because my mom is the Queen of senior discounts. She is 67 now but has been taking them every where that would let her since she was 50. And Mac Donalds senior coffee is her favorite one to hit. Here I think they are like 25 cents or something rediculous like that LOL.

My mom was offered a discount the day my daughter was born! She took Steve out for breakfast at Bob Evans so I could be alone and get some rest. When they went to place thier orders, the waitress kept asking Mom if she was SURE she didn't want the senior discount! Mom was 46 at the time, and she doens't even look 46! Mom told Steve "Gee, I've only been a grandma for a few hours and I'm already being offered senior discounts? " Amber
