I've had a really ugly couch in my long ago past. It was a large brown, black, and cream plaid. I think my hubby bought it in a set off the back of a truck in a parkinglot somewhere. It was hard to be tactful, but I got rid of that horrid thing when we moved here, 22 years ago. Thank goodness we lived in a college town; college kids will pay $10 for anything to sit on.
