Soooo...did you pick up the saddle?? Are you happy with it? I do hope so! Was the bread completely stale by the time you got to the post office??

Yep, I got the saddle ;D and yes the bread was stale. The saddle is pretty cool. Unfortunately, with John in Atlanta this weekend, I didn't get a chance to go try it out. Next weekend, though, is mine, ALL MINE! Bwah-hah-hah-hah! Maybe I should get up on Saturday before he and the boys wake up and sneak out for a "Tina's horsey day . . ."

Alas, the pound cakes, though not as brick-hard as the bread, were too stale, too. It was just my luck - the mailman came on Saturday during the brief time I was out of the house so I had to wait till after the holiday (it HAD to be a holiday weekend! LOL!) - isn't that the way it works?

I don't believe it! What a bust!! I'm SO sorry, Tina! Well, I'm making more poundcake today because I was planning on sending some to the lady who has the palomino gelding - she wants a video of Summer, and we're becoming friends, so I thought I'd send her something yummy along with the video. So I'll just send you a loaf too! I can't believe that it was all stale - I feel so bad!

Now don't feel bad! It wasn't your fault I wasn't home when the postman tried to drop off the box! And the fact that it was a holiday weekend wasn't your fault either. So don't feel bad and that's an order . . . well, at least a very strong request . . . Hugs! Tina
