No, actually I don't. I don't like what the atmosphere has become, so I hang my hat here where, to me, it's more pleasant. I sure respect the right of anybody to go to that board, or this one, or both if they like. I recognize and commend the hard work that Felix does there. She's a great person, works very hard for that board, and they're fortunate to have her. There are still many people there that I care about very much, and I miss them greatly. But for me, that's not enough to make me put up with the new atmosphere. I don't want this thread to turn into an SM bashing thing; they do things their way, and we do things ours. That's their right, and we just do things differently.  |

Ditto to what MaryAnn said. It was a very personal decision for me to leave SM. I have many good friends there. But there were a few relationships that were just too unpleasant for me.
I've worked hard for my serenity and it's taught me that sometimes I have to let things go in order to have the peace in my heart and mind that I need.
I also don't want this thread to turn into a litany against SM. It's a fine board, it's just different from this board.
This board has been a refuge for me and others. I'm so thankful that so many of my Internet friends have joined us here, because without you all, there would be no board.
