Are the new horses working out well for the kids?

So far it seems to be working out. Caiden rode Izzie at a gymkhana in a couple events all by himself in the arena last week. Was able to steer her through a pole pattern at a walk and walked/trotted through keyhole. We also went overnight horse camping Monday night with some friends who have daughters ages 7 and 5 and ride on their own. Caiden rode both trail rides on his own with minimal issues. It was the first time we'd been camping with M&M and she did well. The strange horses didn't bother her, even when the other girls sandwiched Kelsey between them. We've been rained out of our normal gymkhana the last couple weeks and my arena is a mudhole so haven't had her out to see how we are progressing on that side of things but may go tonight.
