She got her to lope most of the way on both straight stretches. I am not a very good video person. It's hard to "watch" through the video camera so I look away and forget about the view through the camera. She also loped between barrels and all the way home from the third barrel but my video of that is really bad so I'm not going to bother posting it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMkCl8gpCDk

It says I have to sign in to view the video. It would seem like the adjustment must have helped.

Changed the youtube settings - maybe it will work now?
My friend who owns the arena said "when did that pony learn to lope" - I told her last week, lol. She still has something not quite right in the hind end. Too much loping and she curves sideways and kicks out on the left hind or mini bucks. Chiro will be back out on Wednesday for another adjustment.

cute cute cute!! She is such a little cowgirl. Sofia looks good, hopefully the next chiro appt brings about just as big of changes.

What a NICE lope. It looks big-horse smooth! I agree, get her worked on again. And the new bit must be working well.

Yes Linda - finally found a bit that she will keep her tongue where it belongs. At first she wasn't turning the best in it but now it seems to be working well.

Yeah!!!
Is she on the same lead both times? It looked like it, but I wasn't sure. That could be a back/chiro issue as well. But, still, huge progress! :-)

Good eye Kit - I noticed that too and looked at the video from barrels and the other videos I took sunday when she was practicing at a friends - all on the same lead. I suspect the issue is in the left hind - pelvis, hip, sacrum area and she would have to drive with that side in order to take the other lead.

Awesome. Chiro sure helped a lot as she looks pretty balanced in the lope there. And Kelsey has become quite a cowgirl this summer.

That's so darn cute it hurts! Gosh, they sure grow up fast, don't they?
Wonky hind end or not, every kid needs a sweetie like that. What an awesome pony!

Oh, this is stellar! Your little cowgirl has guts! It might take several adjustments to "stick" long enough to correct her muscling too. What bit is working now?
