This lady doesn't care if Sadie and I are outside. She doesn't wait until dark (obviously). She doesn't care if cars drive in and out. All she cares about is being first in line for the apples that fall. I sure wish they would finish getting ripe so I could pick them.

Awww it's nice that she isn't frightened of your yard! I miss having deer around my yard. Last winter the snow had gotten so deep that they were coming out of the woods and crossing the road to get into my yard and eating my bird seed. Filled those feeders every single night. Finally I bought a few 50# bags of black sunflower seeds and spread some out in the yard each night so they stopped chewing up my feeders. Brought home hay from the barn too and put out a couple of small piles each night except when it was storming...then they had to wait til the next night!

This is only one. I have a doe with twins that loves eating strawberry plants. There are probably close to ten of them that visit--including a couple of beautiful big bucks. My garden is behind 8 foot deer fence. It does much better there. There isn't much they can hurt too much that they can get at.
