How come one doesn't show up at my house? Did you find it in a Cracker Jack box?

LOL!!! What Hasha said! We got one last fall, and oh my goodness, it saved my butt when the snow was over it. My butt, that is! Congratulations, you're going to love it!

Having a small tractor with a loader is a huge help.

I was doing fairly fine with just Buster and pony... but the addition of Mia sent me right over the edge. i can't keep up. Besides, there are other projects just waiting for a little "horse power" to be applied to make them more realistic to get done. I was hoping to avoid buying a tractor for my small place but i went through one of those thought processes ... quality of life will just get better if I don't feel like I need to do stuff I can't. That condition... "I need to do something I can't" creates stress in my life that I don't want!
My youngest son is back living with me and he brought up how we could move these extra retaining wall blocks I have stacked up out front and make a lovely firepit etc... something I would have never brought up if we had to wheel barrel them around the side... down a hill and then back up a hill...that kind of thing. It re-ignites some of the excitement I had when I first bought my little farmette because there is potential to do some rustic country kind of improvements and make it more of a home not just a house.

I am green with envy!!! Kerry has so many horses and its hard to get stuff done with just wheelbarrows and forks. And I just dread winter coming. Keeping the horses up is getting harder with each year and joint that gets stiff.
