Hey ladies!!! What happened to you? Are any of you feeling flabby and fat like me? With the warm temperatures, I can no longer hide behind my sweatshirts or baggy shirts!! I feel like a COW!! Maybe this will give me the motivation I need (or discipline) to pay serious attention to what I am eating and drop this tonnage over the summer. I know I do not make the best food choices. I started yesterday (again) writing down everything that goes into my big ol' mouth. Had a dr appt on monday and my cholesterol was up again... 245 now. AND I am on crestor. Dr says I am not taking it. I swear I am! I know I have forgotten to take it on those mornings when my schedule is changed. I am writing down the meds and vitamins too. on my food diary. So tell me ladies. Am I alone in this battle of the buldge? What are you doing? I know what Reds is doing and I am proud of her for tacking the beast . She starts working on loosing the extra pounds when she only have a few to drop. Much better than dinking around like me who now has 30 pounds to get rid of.

I have gained back around 12 lbs since my accident and been stressed over DH's stuff. I am starting over today to get ahold of it before I gain anymore back. Since going on WW my good cholesterol has come up and the bad gone down. Dr just told me he is quite happy with it but my total cholesterol is still 212 and I take Crestor and Tricor. Losing what I have and walking has definitely helped with it too because last test day, he wasn't happy with anything.
I had that same problem with Niaicinamide. My cholesterol went up when I was on it, dr couldn't believe it.

I've gained a LOT of weight the last two years. I'm starting TODAY - no Dr Pepper, no fast food breakfast.

Nope you're not alone!
My wieght has stayed the same. I k=got bored with WW. Since January I have been working out 3 times a week. The class I take is for Mom's with stroller aged kids. Now that it is nice outside, we have been meeting at a local park. I have started running again.
Yesterday, I even started a 5K training program. We were timed for a half mile. I did it in 4 minutes 9 seconds. For the next 25 minutes we jogged for 30 seconds and power walked for 1 minute. By the end of the day, I was exhausted!
Even the my weight has stayed the same, I have toned up quite a bit and am in much better shape. I am finally down to a size 16!
Stay focused everyone! You can do it!

Nope, not alone. I'm pretty porky myself. Funny how it usually feels like someone's been messing with my clothes; but this time I can feel a bigger gut. I'm still in my regular jeans, but man, I'm POURED in. Muffin tops so big that if I was in the bakery case I'd be six bucks. I'm searching for inspiration besides my jeans sticking to me like adhesive.

Oh MA-I have TEARS coming to my eyes from laughing!!! SIX BUCKS!!!! How do you come up with this!!!!!! I'm in a wedding on the 21st and I'm sick of my jeans not fitting. I'm doing generic slim fast in the morning and then trying to be sensible throughout the day...fat lotta good that is when I can't turn down a donut in the morning when the guys bring rolls in for their coffee break Of course now with riding season starting, my jeans are starting to loosen up again. But dang-my *shape* just seems so weird to me lately...gravity is pulling everything down and I look more and more like a stupid hunch backed pear every day. :/ What gives?

Ohhhh Snaffle....you are not alone I had been pretty good about losing weight over the winter...yeah I know OVER THE WINTER!!! Not sure where I went wrong or why but about a month ago I got my results back from my tests I had done with a bio-identical hormone replacement doctor. Not as bad as I thought and I really only needed to start a couple of things...like Vit D....I was depleted..or pretty darn close. My chlorestoral was high...but it always is with my PCOS so I wasn't to concerned and she told me to take fish oil. And my cortisol was high so she gave me something to help with that. Started all that and in ONE month I gained 6 pounds. I haven't changed my eating at all...watch EVERYTHING that goes in my mouth and the girls and I have started walking/hiking with the dogs at the local forest preserve. And NO my clothes are not fitting better so I am not getting in shape. I don't understand it and it is really starting to stress me out since I have a bunch of people coming the end of the month for my son's graduation and I at least wanted to fit into the summer clothes I wore last year! BTW...GREAT job Vicki!!

snelson, try writing everything down. Then bring your list here. Maybe someone can spot something that you should not be eating, or give you ideas for subsitutions. I really feel sorry for you! I know how frustrating that can be. I am writing everything down. Even my glass of wine I have been having at suppertime. I am doing one of those things we arent supposed to do. I am having cottage cheese and peaches for my lunch so what is so bad about that? $6 .. oh my gosh!! ;D

I haven't posted because I figured everyone was sick of me posting! I've been on WW Points Plus Online since January - and I love it - I eat chocolate every day (but just a little).
I have lost almost 43 pounds - my goal is 50 pounds before I get my horse trailer - so I have to be really good the next few weeks. Those of you on FB probably saw my picture of me holding the 40 pound bag of horse bedding when I went over the 40 pounds gone weight.
I track every single thing that I eat, I definitely eat all my daily points and all my weekly points and I even dip into my activity points once in a while - I've only gained once, and that's because I was really sick one week and lost 8 pounds, then gained 2 the following week.
I highly encourage anyone to join WW Online - you have to be really accountable to yourself, but you don't go to weekly meetings, which is what I really like about it.

Well I really can't take credit for the 30 lbs that I have lost. But I wouldn't recommend this diet to anyone.
